Spherene Credit System Overview

The Spherene Credit System allows users to access the computational and service capabilities of Spherene products in a flexible and transparent way. Credits are used to measure and manage consumption of Spherene’s services.

What Are Credits?

A credit represents a unit of usage for Spherene services. Every time you perform a computation or request a service through Spherene, the system automatically deducts the corresponding number of credits from your account.

Credits are tied to individual users, meaning each user manages their own balance independently.

Monthly Allocation and Purchase

Depending on your subscription plan, a set number of credits is allocated for free on the 1st of every month.

If you run out of credits before the next allocation, you can purchase additional credits in prepaid bundles:

Starter Pack – 500 credits

Standard Pack – 1,000 credits

Pro Pack – 5,000 credits

Enterprise Pack – 10,000 credits

You can buy these bundles in your Spherene portal dashboard.

Credit Consumption

Each computation or service consumes a number of credits based on the feature used and the runtime.

  • Before starting any computation, the system notifies you of the estimated credit cost and checks whether your account has enough credits. The estimated credit cost is the maximum amount you might be charged for a single computation. However, if your runtime is shorter than expected, fewer credits will be deducted. You must confirm before the computation proceeds.

  • Credits are automatically deducted once the computation starts. If you have run the same cases recently, a cache file will be found, and no credits will be charged for the previously computed parts.

Monitoring Your Credits

  • Your remaining credits are visible in the Spherene portal dashboard.

  • Notifications are sent when your credits are running low.

  • If a computation fails or is canceled, the credits used are refunded.

Expiration and Limits

  • Unused credits expire at the end of each month and cannot be carried over.

  • There is no limit on the number of credits you can accumulate through purchases.

  • Only features that require computation consume credits.

This system ensures users have full visibility over usage while maintaining flexibility for different workflows and needs.
